GSG helped Bar-S foods establish a cause marketing platform, titled Bar-S Serves. Using our proprietary Cause Evaluation Matrix, we evaluated hundreds of causes and partners to determine the best fit for the Bar-S brand, settling on eradicating childhood hunger in partnership with No Kid Hungry.
During Hunger Awareness Month (September) Bar-S engaged shoppers, customers, and employees with an on-pack message, employee events, a PR campaign, and a donation of 1 million meals.
Results:
- Bar-S gained over 33 million earned media impressions, valued at $305,000
- 150 million on pack messages to consumers
